Disturbing music videos
What’s the most disturbing music video you’ve ever seen? I can’t really remember many, but I recently saw a video done for FLYING LOTUS (Warp Records) by Eric Wareheim (of Tim & Eric, Awesome Show! fame), and it’s quite disturbing. So it got me thinking which other videos are disturbing. Apparently Wareheim is directing a similar video for Major Lazer (Mad Decent) for their track “Pon De Floor”, which hopefully won’t be as weird…
As for the other disturbing video I could think of, I remembered one of Chris Cunningham‘s videos for Aphex Twin. Apparently this one was shot in the same council estate Stanley Kubrick shot some of A Clockwork Orange. Probably why it’s so messed up…I purposely did NOT put up the videos for “Windowlicker” and “Rubber Johnny” as they are more scary than disturbing…though this is pretty scary…
