So…it’s the tenties?
2009 wasn’t bad music-wise. I felt a bit alienated by a lot of chart music though, loathing most chart music, mainstream hip-hop and R’n'B, as well as a lot of dance music. But I also embraced underground hip-hop and dubstep more than I had any other genres before. I do like to listen to the bass-heavy side of the music scene at the moment, so I thought I’d post up a few of my favourites (whether they’re guilty pleasures or not) and a few overlooked masterpieces, as well as some brilliantly fresh stuff.
